Future Requirements Imposed on Reactive Dyeing from the Point of View of a Dyestuff Producer
Abstract
It is estimated that in a few years to come the consumption of reactive dyestuffs will grow for around 4 % faster than the consumption of cotton they are usually used for. It can be related to the trend of probable substitution of some dyestuff types (sulphur, for example) with reactive dyes. New range of Levafix dyes has been described in the paper. Ecologically speaking, high fixation levels and the need for less salt in the process, are of special interest. Granular form of the dyestuff has certain advantages regarding its application in practical in-plant processes.Downloads
