Environment Protection in Textile Industry - from Wishes to Reality

Abstract

Problems of environment protection in textile industry have been presented. Production and marketing requirements for eco-textiles have been considered and a survey of the contribution of textile industry to fulfilling ecological requirements and reducing environmentally harmful waste products has been given. Requirements expressed by polititians, consumers and market in general, concerning eco-textiles production and eco-textiles as such, have been presented.
