Abstract

It has been examined the influence of yarn twist on unevenness, tensile strength and elongation at break of yarn and fabric, on abrasion resistance of fabric, fabric thickness and air permeability. The tests were carried out on a cotton single yarn with two different counts and various twists as well as on a cloth produced from the same yarn.
