A Critical Review of the Analysis of Weft Knitted Fabric Structure Parameters

Abstract

Problems and procedures for the analysis of basic parameters of weft knitted fabric structure are given. Working methods are described, connection with the standards given and relationship among the parameters of the yarn, knitting machine and knitted fabric defined. Besides basic, production parameters of the knitted fabric structure are given, following the Russian and Anglo-Saxon model. Examples are provided for the definition and presentation of the values measured.
