The future of spinning and weaving

Abstract

The most important development tendencies in the production of yarns and fabrics are described. Starting from the framework conditions, which in general made it possible to increase the performance in the textile industry, compression spinning, prewetting during starching, and weaving with a serial gap are especially processed. At the end, the development in peripheral areas is briefly presented.
