Criterion of the Choice of the Picture Reproduction in Designens Publications from the Coloristic Point of View

Abstract

Many parameters influence the picture reproduction in designers‘ publications. In regard to the technological systems of the data input concerning the picture, the kind of substrate and the printing technique used in the reproduction process, it is necessary to choose the criteria which will enable the smallest aberration of the reproduction regarding the picture. The investigation is based on the coloristic point of view of obtaining facsimile model reproduction. Parameters used in investigation are different technological systems of information input on the original, most often used today, substrates of different inking printed in digital printing process. The investigation is based on the visual evaluation of the observer and on the instrumental measuring. Based on the analysis of the obtained investigation results, the aim is to determine the criterion which would satisfy the technological system of shooting and substrates for the defined printing technique. It is necessary to take into consideration the specific quality of the coloristic point of view.
