Abstract

Fire protective clothing should protect the body from dangerous external influences such as high temperature, flame, chemicals and mechanical injuries, bad weather, etc. Today, processing protection is mostly sufficient, so many developments are aimed at improving ergonomic properties and general wearing comfort. This presentation describes various examples of new materials and systems for fire protective clothing and possible trends for further developments in the coming years.
