Abstract

General tendencies in the development of textiles and clothing, in the production of the main kinds of textile fibres, cotton and wool yarns in the world are described. Furthermore, import export of fibres, yarns, fabrics and clothing in the world are discussed, with particular reference to the position of Yugoslavia in international trade.
