Abstract

The thermal treatment of textiles represents an important phase of the finishing process, during which physico-chemical changes of natural and chemical polymers take place. The consequence is evident resp. can be determined by colour resp. whiteness change. The whiteness change, determined by different formulas, is experimentally determined as the function of time-temperature change for seven different undyed textile samples.
