Analysis of Loadings of the Thread in the Process of Stitch Forming

Abstract

The present investigation gives an analysis of kinetics and kinematics of the sewing process regarding the phase of the stitch forming. For this purpose measurements of dynamic thread tension during the sewing process on the lockstitch sewing machine were carried out, also measurements of the needle temperature and investigations of the influence of technical-technological parameters of the sewing machine on the change of the thread strength. The results obtained showed, that the role of kinematics and kinetics of the sewing process is important; they are the function of the perfection of the sewing machine and of the quality of the thread.
