Abstract

Chemical compositions and properties of acid, metal complex, chrome and reactive dyestuff as well as the methods of binding dyes to wool are described. Chemical changes being possible in wool proteins under the influence of process parameters (especially of pH and temperature) in dyeing process are elaborated. The perspectives of development of the processes of dyeing are discussed.
