Efficiency Improvements in Fabric Drying Processes

Abstract

Investigations of rational ways of conducting technological and heat processes of fabrics drying in stenters are presented. Economic characteristics and savings to be acomplished by stoppage reductions (prolongation of stenter working time) and mechanical dewatering of fabrics in a bath using pressure rollers before heat drying, are pointed out. High degree of heat recuperation from humidified, wet exhaust air from the stenter has been achieved.
