Mechanisms for Button Orientation on Automatic Sewing Machines in Garment Industry

Abstract

The basis for technical solution of automatic button orientation in orientation devices has been presented. Parameters of orientation devices which have impact on button feeding have been pointed out. Some typical button designs have been analysed and elements presented for their orientation and taking upright position for sewing on. Instructions have been given to ready-made clothing designers, regarding the choice of buttons that are to be sewnon automatically as well as regarding their design.
