Abstract

The method of measuring processing parameters in garment sewing operations, employing new measuring system and method of measuring and calculation of processing parameter values, has been presented. Measurements have been done and processing parameter determined - time needed for sewing, sewing machine utilisation ratio, percentage of maximum sewing speed of the machines, average sewing speed, characteristic duration of all the machine/hand technological procedures and technological operations depending upon the lengs of the flat seams on laboratory samples investigated.
