Croatian textile and clothing industry in figures - operations in 1997

Abstract

The paper analyzes the structure and business results of the Croatian textile and clothing industry in 1997. Based on the results, the ranking of individual companies within NKD 17 and 18 and the entire economy of Croatia was compiled. The share of these activities in the total economy, in the total processing industry of Croatia, and in foreign trade is shown. Proposals for tasks on the micro and macro level that would improve the success and efficiency of the textile and clothing industry are listed.
