Abstract

The Öko-Tex system of environmental evaluation of textiles is presented, including: a presentation of standards and criteria, the method of sampling for testing, the method of testing and certification according to the "Öko-Tex Standard 100" norm series, and marking with the corresponding ecological label. An example from practice shows the sequence of actions that must be taken when seeking the right to use the Öko-Tex label, the way to implement the certification procedure and the conditions for using the label.
