Abstract

The new air jet spinning technology greatly increases yarn productivity The physical properties of the yarn, especially manifested in the from of harshness in fabric hand, poses unique problems for direct substitution for the conventional ring spun or open end rotor spun yarns. This paper analiyzes the causes of the unique properties of air jet yarns and proposes ways to modify them.
