Abstract

The application of nanotechnological processes and the achievement of new functionalities on textiles is one of the most interesting challenges for technological progress in the textile industry. The possibilities of creating nanostructures on textile fibers are diverse. For the economic significance of these findings, the decisive question is the possibility of their adaptation to textile applications and framework conditions. This paper presents the first results of transferring the sol-gel process to textile surfaces.
