Abstract

Ecological-biological properties of the auxiliary agents for the finishing of textiles are described. A survey of toxicity and biodegradation was obtained by following chemical and biological oxygen consumption as well as by determining LD» for single products. The possibility of elimination of textile auxiliary agents from the effluents of the textile industry lies in the flotation process. The obtained results present a contribution of the Chromos Kutrilin, Zagreb to the modern approach to production and application as well as to fulfilling greater market demands on the influence of auxiliary agents for the finishing of textiles on the ecosystem.
