Abstract

Processes of oil and water-repellency treatment of woolen fabrics are dealt with. The finished fabrics, 50 to 70 m long and 150 cm wide, were not unpacked from the drumm after wet processing in organic solvent. The effects obtained are better that those obtained by treatment in water emulsion. The total process - oil and/or water-repellency treatment in organic solvent lasts shorter time than the same treatment in the water. Besides a higher quality, by the treatment in organic solvent economies are achieved.
