Abstract

In the paper the preparation of carded sliver in the production of artificial furs is described. The properties and specifications of backing and fleece are discussed. A description is given of the process of finishing and production of knitted artificial furs. The characteristics of devices for computer patterning and control, as well as fields of applications of knitted artificial furs are explained.
