Abstract

Through literature citations listed in the appendix to this paper, thermal properties of polyethylene glykolterephthalate fibres are defined and their most frequently used heat treatments explained. A description is given of methods for determination of characteristic thermal parameters and the relation between these parameters and structural condition of the material and fibres is explained.
