CARNet - Today‘s Possibilities of Scientific Communication

Abstract

A description is given of network, information systems and project of CARNet. The technical basis of administrator of the user of CARNet, as well as the use of CARNet and costs of its use are outlined. Whit the aid of examples, the basic and important services of information systems are explained. A short chronology of CARNet development is given and activities at the level of the Republic of Croatia and of the Textile-technological Faculty in Zagreb presented.
