Factors Influencing Yarn Deformation in Warp Yarn Sizing and Dyeing
Abstract
Some significant changes in tensile forces and drawability of the yarn occur during warp yarn beam dyeing and unwinding from the stand on sizing machines. These changes result in permanent deformations, lower size content on the dyed warp and fineness variations after desizing, as well as in thinning the warp threads. Specific factors that can influence optimal control of these processes have been presented in the paper.Downloads
