Analysis of the Influence of the Yarn Length on the Yarn Bobbin, of the Thread Number and the Warp Beams on the Economy of Warping

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to find optimal conditions in warping by means of a computer and a corresponding program [4, 6], i.e. to refer to the conditions under which the warping machine will be most utilized with the lowest production costs. Instead of investigating various conditions on the warping machine which are met in practice a program was made which enables to calculate important parameters, on which production costs, efficiency of the warping machine etc. depend, with the help of length variation, various thread number on the warp beam, thread breaks, lot length, yarn quality etc. The simulation of various warping conditions is very efficient and not time-consuming, whereas the investigation of warping conditions in practice would last for months or even years.
