Statistical Process Control - Reengineering in the Clothing Production
Abstract
Because of a variety of designs of clothing articles and a great number of procedures in the production process, deviations and faults in different places and various frequencies occur. The correction of deviations and faults increases production costs. To achieve the production without deviations and faults, it is necessary to introduce methods and techniques for evaluating all the factors affecting the quality of products and processes. Total Quality Management and Reengineering are systematic approaches by use of which a production in compliance with the specified quality, i.e. without unsatisfactory products, can be achieved. In this paper the experiences in the application of flow chart, histogram, Paret‘s diagram, Ishikawa‘s diagram, np - control charts and x2-criteria, as elements of improving the quality by reducing faults and deviations and production costs are presented.Downloads
