Abstract

Electrospun fabrics have a wide application in many fields of technics and medicine. The effective mechanical properties on multiple material scale of fabric were defined by the stochastic model of the planar fibre network. Nanofiber heterogenity was replaced by the fiber with homogenized equivalent elastic properties. The stress-strain experimental data for the fabric from polyacronitrile reinforced with carbon nanotubes are used for numerical model validation.
