Wool Bleaching and Causes of Natural Colour of Wool
Abstract
In this study the causes of colour of naturally - genetically coloured wools are described, as well as the causes of yellowing by endogenous and exogenous pigments resulted by external effects. Which appear during the breeding, or during the production of textiles or by storage. Also chemical reactions during the formation of endogenous pigments are explained and the importance of bleaching of wool presented. In conclusion an extensive bibliography about the colour of wool is given.Downloads
