Abstract

The extrusion of liquid polymer through the nozzle is the critical point of the chemical spinning of the fibres. In this phase of the process the geometry of the fibre shape, that means the shape of the fibre cross section and the fibre fineness are determined. Here beginns also molecular arrangement, the first elements of the overmolecular structure and so the physical and mechanical properties of fibres are performed. This is particularly important for the production of fibres with high mechanical properties. In this work the influence of the geometric shape of the nozzle openings on the flow of the polymer melt, as well as the materials and the basic elements of the calculation and of the production of spinning nozzles are discussed. On the basic of a detailed survey of technical literature and patents, the indications for the investigations of development are given.
