New Modern Equipment at the Department of Clothing Technology of the Faculty of Textile Technology of the University of Zagreb

Abstract

The paper describes the orientation of the Department of Clothing Technology of the Faculty of Textile Technology to better connections with economy and the necessity to equip the Department of Clothing Technology with production facilities. The Development and Employment Fund of the Republic of Croatia recognized this orientation of the Department and of the entire Faculty of Textile Technology as correct and necessary and financed the purchase of the production equipment without obligation of repayment. By investment it has been made possible to establish a technological centre of modern techniques for acquiring new knowledge and its transfer to the domestic industry that can increase its level of competitiveness. The purchased and installed equipment is described in short.
