State and Perspectives of the Care of Clothing and Textiles

Abstract

The report gives an analysis of the latest state in the field of the care of clothing and textiles. The difficulties caused by bad quality of the treated textiles, chemicals, machines and other equipment, as well as soils are found out. Based on the results obtained, the tendencies of the further investigations are determined and the perspectives of the care of textiles discussed. Textiles shall be dry cleaned in the future and PER is to be considered as the solvent of the future. Other solvents and appropriate machines known and used so far, have no chance for the future.
