Abstract

In the paper the possibilities of application of models for rheological presentation of knit fabrics are investigated. Maxwell‘s, Kelvin's, Alfrey‘s three component elasticity model and mathematical model depending on the strain in the knitwear manufacture and on the simulation of application were used. Elasticity of knit fabric is functionally dependent on the short intervals of strains, but during a longer time permanent sets of knit fabric remain. In the presentation of the occuring of deformation during the strain, the best results were achieved by Alfrey‘s and mathematical model.
