Determination of Yield Factor of Nominal Speed of Sewing Machines and of Average Sewing Speed in Apparel Manufacture

Abstract

In this work it is reported about an original method and mathematics expressions for the determination of yield factor of the nominal speed of sewing machines and of the sewing speed for technological processes and operations of apparel manufacture. For the determination of these basic process parameters of technological sewing operations, a measuring system for data acquisition, storage and processing by means of appropriate feelers, transducers and electronic computer was developed. For this measuring system the necessary programs were worked out, by means of which the acquisition, storage and processing of the data is possible. Also the data obtained by measurement and processing of the basic para meters for technological operation of sewing of the front seam of the sleeve of lounge jacket are elucidated.
