Abstract

Methods for evaporation of solvent from garment and textiles in dry cleaning are presented. Phases of evaporation, condensation and adsorption are analysed. Advantages and disadvantages of several drying methods in dry cleaning are discussed. It was found, that drynig by cyring and adsorption, at the hand of CONSORBA method provides good results: the content of residual solvent is minimum and there is no danger of solvent emission in the atmosphere.
