Bath distillation in dry cleaning

Abstract

The meaning of distillation in the technological process of chemical cleaning is described. The procedures of "steam" and "electric" distillation were analyzed. The dangers that could occur in the case of improper operation were pointed out, such as thermal decomposition of PER, decrease in pH and increase in acidity, damage to the machine and clothing. New types of devices and procedures for distillation of dry cleaning baths are presented.
