»Absolute Correctness« of Numerical Colour Determination in the Eurocolor System
Abstract
The numerical color determination is regarding to the multitude (10 million) of colours and absolute necessity. This determination gets special importance if it is based on or connected to regularities (CIE L*a*b*) which represent the basis for colour evaluation by means of hue (H*), lightness (L*) and chroma (C*). The so called »absolute correctness« of the declared values is doubtful, which means its eventai dependence on the measuring apparatus. The »absolute correctness« of the numerical value of the Eurocolor colours has been controlled by the ACS-3500 System.Downloads
