Abstract

The basic properties of metal complex dyestuffs 1:2 from the manufacturing programme of »Chromos - Organic Dyestuffs«, Zagreb, as well as the characteristics of wool and polyamide fibres are discussed. In the experimental part particular reference is given to the application of Orbolan S wool dyestuffs and acid wool dyestuffs, to the appropriate choice of metal complex dyestuffs 1:2 and acid dyestuffs and to the application of the most appropriate levelling agents for polyamide dyeing.
