Abstract

The influence exerted by the temperature of condensation and by metal catalyst MgCL on the release of formaldehyd from the fabrics treated with DMEU, DMDHEU and etherified DMDHEU are investigated. The results obtained showed, that by the increase of the temperature of condensation or quantity of catalyst, the content of the free formaldehyd on the treated fabric decreases. The minimum quantity of catalyst, necessary for the achievement of the satisfactory effects is determined.
