Influence of Various Factors on the Solubility of Disperse Dyestuffs

Abstract

The solubility of disperse dyestuffs of various dyeing power is investigated in the presence of various concentration of karbamid and tiokarbamid, as well as in the presence of the fixed concentration of dispersing agents, at boiling point, by the polymer cell method. Ba adding karbamid or tiokarbamid in water dispersions, the solubility can be improved in some cases 3.6 times. The thermodynamic analysis makes it clear, that the solubility of disperse dyestuffs in the presence of kairbamid or tiokairbamid an entropically controlled process is.
