Elimination of Textile Dyestuffs from Wather Solutions by means of Isothermal Adsorption at 25 °C
Abstract
Isothermal adsorption of variously constituted organic dyestuffs from wather solutions on natural adsorbents with high silicon (IV) oxide component was studied. Isothermal adsorption, used in the textile industry, was carried out at 25 °C. Three types of dyestuffs were used: substantive (direct) Solarrot B, basic Basacrylrot GL and metal complex Lanasynreinrot 2 BL. Following adsorbents were used: kaolinit and two aluminium silicate natural mixtures with 34.52 % SiO2, that is 31.25 % SiO2. The dyestuff quantity in the filtrate was spectrophotometrically determined, by measuring pH and by determination of light radiation reflectance on DATACOLOR. All results were obtained by means of computer. The investigations of dyestuffs showed, that natural aluminium silicates with increased part of amorphous silicon oxide are the most convenient adsorbents, while kaolinit did not show a significant adsorptivity of these dyestuffs.Downloads
