Abstract

An analysis is given of the influence of warp and weft thread tension on the formation of cloth width and on the take up. It was found out, that by the increase of the warp thread tension and of initial weft tension the fabric width becomes smaller. It was also found that the cloth width is becoming smaller after washing and that dimensional stability is achieved after third washing.
