Abstract

Stickly interlinens offer a number of advantages, the most prominent being the ease of their application, and the appropriate from and handle they give to the it hem of clothing they have been applied to. Steam setting it hem of clothing results in shape retention, contributes to the general look of the garment, but also to dimensional stability and level of usability. There are some advantages in further storing and care, too. The influence of temperature and setting time on the shrinkage of top cloth and strength of bonding was investigated.
