Abstract

The article describes the most frequently used methods of elimination of impurities from the effluents of the textile industry, with the purpose of their re-use in the textile technology. The mechanical, chemical, physical-chemical or biological methods of the treatment of water and their combinations are applied. The application of a method depends on the composition of effluent and on the technological process in general.
