Abstract

Artistic construction of fashion figure and garment should be constructively and technologically legible as well as eye-catching to the observer selecting it for the garment collection as a document in garment manufacturing. The construction of technical drawing is planar and without experiencing the spatiatility of body and garment. Human body or torso observed stereometrically is reduced to the cross-section union of the torso by horizontal and vertical planes in ellipses forming an ellipsoid-like grid. The growth and development of the human body from the childhood to the adulthood is investigated in accordance with changing forms based on the new orientation grid of human body. In the artistic construction of garment the grid of orientation and anatomical torso lines should be analyzed in order to design clothing in accordance with consumer age and stature.
