Abstract

In this work it is reported about the influence exerted by technological factors on the cutting of layers in the cutting process of men‘s suits. The influence of the quantity of the parts in the models of men‘s suits on the share of cutting of even contoures, strongly and slightly curved contours, angles and cut-ins is established. In the cutting of men‘s suits the share of the basic time of cutting of slightly curved contours, which amounts up to 38.66 to 47.60 %, is the highest. The structure of the layers in the cutting of men‘s suits influences decisively the unit basic times, what is confirmed by the results obtained from 53.33 to 187.70 seconds. It has been also found out, that the quantity of men‘s suits and the number of sizes in cut-orders have the greatest influence on the average unit basic cutting time. Their values amount up to 73.17 to 121.12 seconds. These values show the total influence of the examined technological factors on the cutting of the layers in the process of cutting of men‘s suits.
