Influence of Parameters of Knitting Machine and of Yarn on the Elasticity of Knit Goods
Abstract
Elasticity of untreated and finished weft knitted goods in dependence on the setting of knitting machine and yarn are investigated. Three samples were produced on the same machine with differently setted production parameters from two kinds of cotton yarn with the same fineness, bit with various technical properties. The results obtained showed, that yarn parameters and production parameters during the process of knitting have a considerable influence on the elasticity of knit goods. By a correct setting of machine parameters and high quality yarns, a better construction of knit goods and so a coresponding elasticity can be obtained.Downloads
